Koren uses a combination of Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Indian Head Massage techniques. Massage can be given for pure relaxation purposes or for specific problems such as rehabilitation from injuries or localised muscle tension.

Your body changes from day-to-day and has special needs that are unique to you. The beauty of Integrated Massage is that it combines many styles of massage and is tailored to give your body precisely what it needs, each and every time. For example, one shoulder may need to be lengthened and soothed whilst the other may have knots that are crying for deep pressure and relief.

Integrated massage is carried out on a therapy couch using natural oils. Treatments last for 30 minutes, 1 hour or 90 minutes, depending on your preference.

What to expect during an appointment

As your individual needs are of utmost importance, before your massage begins, you will be asked which areas of your body are calling for more attention. 

You can chose to have either a gentle, relaxing massage or one that is vigorous and stimulating, depending on what suits you at the time. If appropriate, Chinese Cupping and Acupuncture techniques may be incorporated into your treatment to allow for a deeper release and relaxation in particularly stuck areas. This will be discussed with you beforehand.
